Sandman Glass Inc. was contracted through CRW Industries to provide all storefront aluminum doors, glazing, and aluminum framing and infill panels to refurbish an existing garage space on Front Street in Santa Cruz.
This prevailing wage job went very smoothly and facilitated a long term relationship between Sandman Glass inc and CRW Industries.
Bogard Construction contracted Sandman Glass Inc to furnish and install all exterior storefront windows and doors. Sandman provided 2 x 4 1/2 bronze framing and doors by Arcadia. ALso furnished and installed was custom 3/8″ thick frameless glass surrounds to enclose offices, a frameless glass interior door to conference room, and bathroom partitions and accessories.
Sandman Glass Inc. was contracted by Descor Builders to furnish and install all new aluminum storefront windows and doors with electrified hardware for the CHW Dominican project remodel.
Santa Clara Valley Transportation Project remodel stations:
Robert A. Bothman contracted Sandman Glass Inc. to furnish and install all new polycarbonate material lexan speciality windscreens panels inside steel frames at all VTA locations. Sandman Glass Inc also furnished and installed new steel Hope’s windows at elevator shafts on the transportation grounds. This project was finished station by station gradually over the period of 9 months.
Sandman Glass Inc met strict scheduling deadlines to comply with the Transportation Authority’s busy operating schedule and worked closely with the contractor to meet all necessary specifications and product data requirements for this high risk location. Our subcontractor, Transparent Glass Coatings, installed anti-graffiti film on all windows and Sandman Glass Inc provided 1/2″ laminated glass to ensure that the windows would withstand wind pressure and vandalism.
Sandman Glass Inc. was contracted by UCSC to find a cost effective way to replace existing fixed storefront framed aluminum windows with ventilating windows.
Sandman Glass Inc.’s solution was to leave the existing frames intact, remove the existing glass, cut and reuse a portion of the glass, and install new awning windows in a portion of the larged fixed openings. By replacing a section of the window and dividing it to provide ventilation Sandman Glass Inc was able to achieve the projects demands with the least expense!
